Cartridge Filters

Cartridge filters are specially designed for the use in the beverage resp. chemical-pharmaceutical industry and serve particularly for the sterilising filtration.

The advantages of cartridge filters:

  • closed filter system
  • without any drip losses
  • good regenerability

The housings are made of stainless steel SS 304, however, also higher alloyed steels can be used on request. The sterilisation can be performed with vapour at a pressure of 1 bar or with hot water or chemically.

The STRASSBURGER cartridge filter consists of the base plate (1) with the connections for inlet and outlet as well as the tripod legs for safe standing.
The base plate has 1-3-4-8-11 bores for the insertion of the filter cartridges which seal with two O-rings and are held with a bayonet catch. The housing (2) with manometer and venting fitting is attached with a clamp quick acting closure (3) to the base plate and sealed by a special silicone gasket. The three filter cartridges are fixed with centering spindle and centering washer (i). The STRASSBURGER filter cartridges have a free filter area of up to 0.71 m2 per 10?- cartridge part and are made for a retention rate of 0.45 and 0.6 µ.
Cartridges are suitably delivered for other housing makes, too.
